Innovative Lighting was founded in 1993 in the heart of the Silicon Prairie. When we first opened our doors 30 years ago, we offered one product: a retractable stern light for marine applications. Today, we design, engineer, manufacture, and support more than 1,000 products across five divisions… all from Iowa.

In 2012, we entered the PoE (Power over Ethernet) space with the introduction of the GENISYS PoE Lighting System. Our extensive background in manufacturing low-voltage LED products paved the way to developing the GENISYS solution. GENISYS PoE Lighting Systems is the definition of intelligent lighting with hardware & software that powers, controls, and monitors lighting all through a safe, low-voltage Ethernet cable providing endless possibilities into the digital IoT world.
